‘The Himalayan’ pairs action queen Angela Mao with Taiwanese martial arts star Dorian Tan. Shot on location in Nepal and at the Golden Harvest studios in Hong Kong, the film features an unusually convoluted plot and dynamic action sequences.
The films Machiavellian villain, the muscular Singaporean actor Chan Sing, was one of the biggest martial arts icons of his day.
The action was choreographed by legendary martial arts director Sammo Hung and ‘The Big Boss’ star Han Ying-chieh, both of whom also appear in the movie.
Reel East are proud to celebrate this kung fu klassic by making these 14 lobbycards, printed by Golden Harvest for the 1976 release of the film, available to Angela’s worldwide fanbase.
