Before he was ‘Ip Man’, actor Donnie Yen was known for his dance moves as well as his martial arts skills. Both were on display in the wacky romantic action comedy ‘Mismatched Couples’, directed by and co-starring Donnie’s mentor, Yuen Woo-ping. Yen’s sole film for the Cinema City group, the movie is a charming mid-80s spaced oddity, and a priceless snapshot of a very young Donnie Yen, and the bond between him and Master Yuen.
