The greatest Asian action ace of the modern era is Jackie Chan, and Reel East are proud to present genuine movie memorabilia from Jackie’s stunt-packed classics.

After Jackie Chan gained superstardom with his films ‘Snake in the Eagle’s Shadow’ and ‘Drunken Master’, he signed with Golden Harvest, the house that Bruce Lee built.

There he began to build his own legacy, directing and produce a string of stunt-packed action classics. His first starring role for Golden Harvest, ‘The Young Master’, was close to the kind of kung fu comedy that had made him a star. His next began development as a sequel, ‘Young Master in Love’, but evolved int0 a new kind of Chinese action epic: ‘Dragon Lord’.

Shot on locations in Taiwan and Korea, and on the Golden Harvest soundstages, the film follows the adventures of Dragon (Jackie Chan), a mischievous youngster who finds himself caught up in a plot to steal antiques from China. Though the film features martial arts fights, Jackie’s character is very much an underdog hero.

‘Dragon Lord’ paved the way for Jackie’s later films, throwing his character from one perilous stunt to another. It is also something unique to itself, a Ching dynasty sports action film, with two stand out scenes being a shuttlecock match and a ‘bun mountain’ climbing contest.
